REMANET EXPORT RUNTIME LICENSE

This License applies only to original Remanet software components intentionally included as part of an exhibition exported by Remanet ("Remanet Runtime").

It does not apply to the proprietary Remanet Builder and does not replace or modify licenses covering third-party components.

## 1. LICENSE GRANT

For each exhibition legitimately created or exported using Remanet, the user is granted a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, host, archive, back up, display, distribute, and modify the Remanet Runtime as part of that exhibition.

The license includes the right to provide the Exported Exhibition, including the Remanet Runtime, to another person or organization for hosting, maintenance, preservation, accessibility work, archival custody, or exhibition of that same project.

The license does not expire if Remanet.art becomes unavailable, Remanet is discontinued, or future versions of Remanet are released.

## 2. EXHIBITION PORTABILITY

An Exported Exhibition may be:

* hosted on any compatible web server;
* incorporated into an artist's, gallery's, museum's, school's, archive's, or other organization's website;
* moved between hosting providers;
* stored locally;
* stored in institutional or personal archives;
* copied for preservation or backup;
* transferred to another person or organization responsible for maintaining or exhibiting the project;
* modified as necessary to maintain, preserve, present, make accessible, or adapt the exhibition.

No connection to Remanet.art, Remanet servers, an account system, licensing server, subscription service, or Remanet API is required for normal operation.

## 3. USER CONTENT

This License grants Remanet no ownership rights in the user's artwork, photographs, panoramas, text, metadata, audio, video, exhibition design, project data, or other user-created content.

Users remain responsible for obtaining any necessary rights for third-party material included in their exhibitions.

## 4. GENERATED PROJECT FILES

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, configuration, metadata, media references, and other project-specific files generated specifically for the user's exhibition may be copied, modified, archived, transferred, and published by the user without additional permission from Remanet, subject to third-party rights and licenses.

This permission does not grant permission to copy or redistribute unrelated portions of the proprietary Remanet Builder that are not included in the Exported Exhibition.

## 5. RUNTIME RESTRICTIONS

The Remanet Runtime may not be extracted, repackaged, redistributed, sold, or offered primarily as:

* a standalone virtual-tour or exhibition-building library;
* a competing exhibition builder;
* a hosted service substantially reproducing the Remanet Builder;
* a general-purpose runtime product unrelated to the Exported Exhibition;
* another software product presented under the Remanet name;
* another software product presented in a manner falsely implying official Remanet status.

These restrictions do not prevent reasonable modification, copying, or redistribution of the Runtime as part of a legitimately exported exhibition for its operation, accessibility, maintenance, preservation, presentation, transfer, or adaptation.

They also do not restrict rights granted by applicable law or by a third-party license.

## 6. ATTRIBUTION AND BRANDING

Remanet attribution included in an Exported Exhibition may be removed by the artist or another person authorized to modify that exhibition, unless a specific third-party component requires attribution or another notice under its own license.

Use of the Remanet name or logo to imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, certification, or official status is not permitted without authorization.

Removing Remanet attribution does not remove copyright or license notices required for third-party components.

## 7. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

Third-party software, fonts, icons, media, and other materials included in an Exported Exhibition remain governed by their respective license terms.

Where those licenses require notices, attribution, source-code availability, source-code offers, or other conditions, those requirements remain in effect.

The included `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt` file must not be removed where its contents are required by an applicable license.

## 8. NO WARRANTY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE REMANET RUNTIME AND EXPORTED EXHIBITIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

## 9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COPYRIGHT OWNER AND CONTRIBUTORS TO REMANET WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE, MODIFICATION, HOSTING, PRESERVATION, TRANSFER, OR DISTRIBUTION OF AN EXPORTED EXHIBITION OR REMANET RUNTIME.

Nothing in this License excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

## 10. SURVIVAL

Rights granted under this License to a legitimately exported exhibition are perpetual and survive discontinuation of Remanet, Remanet.art, or future versions of the software.
